Review on 🔌 Enhanced Performance RY-899 A/C Compressor Relay by Standard Motor Products by Tony Reid

I had an air conditioning problem in my 2004 Passat where the compressor delayed starting for about 15-20 minutes and then shut off. After checking the 134A's charge, I found recommendations on several VW forums that this relay was a common problem. After the replacement, the air conditioning turned on after about 30 seconds, which I am very happy about. Exact match to the original relay (even labeled 384 above) and a great price. The hardest part of the installation is finding the relay (behind the fuses). Installation was possible without dismantling the base plate.
