Review on IPCW LEDT 343BPCB Bermuda Black Bumper by Simon Nugroho

Prepare for regular exchanges.

This is my 4th set of these lights. Yes, I'm a jerk. But they don't work. Over time, water seeps into the lanterns. Here I bought the fourth set. They never come out in pairs. For this purchase I used Permatex 82180 and fitted it to all known possible water entry points except maybe the vent as shown in the picture. I contacted IPCW and finally, after about a sixth email, received warranty information from Danny for this purchase, but it is likely void because I took a step to prevent moisture from getting into the LEDs . Danny's (IPCW) words to me are below: Since you've already tried everything and the car sealed sockets are in perfect condition, the only step now is to replace them under warranty. However, the warranty and process are handled by the particular company you bought the lamps from. The typical warranty period for LED lamps is 1 year replacement/exchange. We have some clients that go above and beyond, but it's done by them. I would contact the company they were purchased from and request an exchange from RGA. FYI - the shape and fit of the lights are great when they work. Just be prepared to replace them when needed. The photos attached were taken after the application of the gasket material and the right hand side light which needs to be replaced. The other left side is backlit. 9 months pass. But now that I still have one, it will probably go out now ;-). IPCW LEDT-343BPCB Bermuda Black Rear Bumper Light - Pair UPDATE 09-14-16After 3 weeks of installing new lights, water stains are visible behind the plastic pane on the right! This is after I "believed" to have sealed all known water entry points. Time to look for another solution.
