I would give this part 5 stars but how the water pump seal is packaged. It was just clear plastic that was thrown into a box big enough to hold all the parts and that box was placed in the big box. Needless to say the gasket was wrinkled and damaged from allowing the water pump to hang in the box. anything could be done to protect him. It could be placed between sheets of cardboard, taped to the outside of the inner box, and placed in a padded envelope. Replacing the water pump on a first generation Xterra is no easy task. I don't want to risk a broken gasket, so I buy it from the parts store. All other parts arrived in excellent condition and appear to be of high quality. Maybe it sounds a bit picky, but that's how it is. I would buy it again knowing the seal would be damaged.
