My outdoor grill setup consists of a 3 burner propane grill and 2 open side burners. I use wok and stew burners since the main grill is used for grilling and sautéing. Cooking on stovetops can create a mess when food burns in the freezer or moisture causes oil splatters. This set of two mudguards works as described. I've only used them outdoors, but I can pinch or use a powerful rare earth magnet to hold this foldable shelter on a shelf that holds two burners. They get wiped off but I don't hand wash them in the sink, I just spray on a degreaser and hose them down lightly. The pack I bought has two of these and I still use my first and keep the unused second in the grill by the propane tank.
