This was ordered as a replacement broom for the same type and style. The one difference with this brand though, is the length of the bristles. They are a good two inches shorter than the other brooms of this exact style (though different brand and manufacturer) in our house. Doesn't affect how well the broom works. It just feels weird to me when I use it. Aside from that, great broom and dustpan combo. The broom gets up dust and dirt from the floor and does a good job with pet hair. The dustpan edge is even and doesn't leave a line of dirt behind. The broom grooming 'teeth' are what I like most about these sets as these help get out hair (pet or people) from the bristles and keep the broom head cleaner.
