Goes well with gasket as well as filter or strainer or strainer as some call it. Anyway, it worked fine for me. My car is a 2008 Mercedes-Benz E-350, 4-Matic with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Make sure the gasket is tight against the pan when you put the pan back in place. Oh yeah, don't forget the Guys and Girls filter! The filter has a small plastic pin that fits into a small groove in the valve body for proper alignment! Happy mechanic and happy driver.
