Great fit good quality for your FJ Cruiser

They fit my 2008 FJ Cruiser with no problems. The old racks were factory and sinking. Even though they still hold the hood, I have to push them all the way in before it holds. It was a dangerous situation. These shelves appear to be well made and fit together perfectly. The large cylinder lifts up during installation and attaches to the hood attachment point. Insert a flathead screwdriver under the old post's metal brackets and pry outward to loosen each connection point. It's easier to have someone hold the hood because when the old struts wear out (the reason you buy them) the hood will want to come off. First, push these new uprights firmly against the bottom attachment point, open the top fully, then push the top fitting and it snaps into place. Now marvel at the fact that your bonnet now easily lifts and lifts all the way up.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
