Review on Celestron Nature DX ED 8x42 Premium Binoculars with Extra-Low Dispersion Glass by Jason Ampongan

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great looks, poor workmanship

Packing such incredible looks into such an affordable package clearly required some compromises. Unfortunately, the poor design of the eyecups left us with a practically unusable pair of binoculars. It seems there is no locking screw without which the eyecup keeps turning up and down (and shutting off!). Based on my troubleshooting research, this seems to be a point of failure at times. I would probably recommend them to a friend anyway. I think I just got a pair of lemons. I'm looking around for warranty options.
