When reinstalling the lift on our 2019 F250 which had a slight leak under the front seal I decided to replace the original clamps as (a ) they were tight due to excessive force during installation by the supplier, and (b) six zip ties appeared to be a better way to secure the top to the truck bed than four zip ties. I am quite impressed with these new clamps due to their design and the fact that the threads are tapped tight onto the castings resulting in a secure mechanical fit. My only complaints are that (a) I have to clean the threads to make sure I can install them all within the specified torque range and (b) I have to repaint them if I want them all as two of them look very good were externally visibly worn through the seller's packaging. Nothing fancy ATC as these are sturdier clips than the ones used by the topper installer and definitely a good price but still a bit annoying considering how long it takes to repaint properly .
