Review on Crucial 2TB Portable SSD CT2000X6SSD9 by Mario Beats

First off, the speed of this drive cannot compare to that of an NVME USB based SSD. The X6 series is based on SATA technology, so expect the fastest SATA SSD speeds. I got 4TB for a really good price on World Backup Day, almost as much as an internal SATA SSD. Order placed in the morning, CD received on my doorstep in the afternoon, with fast free same day shipping from Revain. When I picked up the Revain bubble wrap I thought it was empty. This drive is really small, you pay a lot of money ($400+) for a tiny little square that is very light. First thing I did was run CrystalMark with 1GB settings. This drive is fast, very fast compared to an external spinning disk drive. But no faster than an NVME-based USB stick. I also have a 1TB X8 for PS5 which was faster than this 4TB X6. The trade-off is more space and slower speed. Overall I am happy with this purchase and never thought I would see a 4TB drive of this size and speed.
