This PH sensor broke in the first week. It didn't read or calibrate properly. I was told to put it in a PH storage solution. I ordered a soil pH meter from the NukeHeads website and it arrived in 3 days. It was calibrated almost immediately and displayed PH 4.0 and 7.0 almost flawlessly, required a small turn of the calibration screw, and it was accurate. 3 days this Hanna was in PH storage solution, I tried to calibrate it and it failed to calibrate. It seems others are reporting the same issue with this product. I stuck it in the ground after first pushing the stick to make a hole in the ground. I inserted this probe and the tip broke off. Sending it back was enough for me. UPDATE: 6 months old and my NukeHeads soil pH meter is still working great. If you need a soil pH meter, visit the NukeHeads website!
