This shampoo is advertised (among other things) as whitening. I have gray hair and am trying to reduce the yellowing caused by my hair oils. I used a fairly expensive clarifying shampoo that did the job well. It costs about 4 times more than this shampoo. When I saw this, it turned out to be cheaper, vegan and eco-friendly, so I gave it a try. In fact, my hair seems to be getting yellower. This seems to make it appear healthier but more yellow. I've noticed that other hair products designed to make my hair manageable (gels and leave-in conditioners) also yellow my hair, so I'm guessing it's some kind of moisturizer that's yellowing my hair.
