You need to make a pilot hole so you need a drill and bits. You need a stud finder. Make sure you climb a tree. You will also need a set of ratchets to tighten the bolts with pliers while still holding the nut. Hence the wobble complaints. Ours wobbled until we took that step. You will also need screws to attach the bracket to the back of the TV. We installed a 21" Visio and needed four tiny #6-32 3/8 mounting screws. I got it on a lightning deal for $20. If I had paid the usual $50 I would have been upset. We have the stand held down so I could attach my crown pouch to insert the remote as shown.
