Set was good for the money but I'll stick with the big names thanks. Grip was good, length could be more comfortable if they were longer. Not sure what sizes were supposed to be in the packet but they weren't fully sorted from large to small - some were overlooked. I prefer Susan Bates' flatter heads, so these more traditional hooks take a little getting used to. They're certainly more convenient to use than traditional hooks, but if you can afford the more expensive ergonomic hooks, get them. I crochet a lot and having good needles is a must. This set is given away to a beginner.
