My contractor installed a cabinet system into a new assembly (not so new anymore). Roller guides - the way they were fitted I would have to pull out the existing guides - break a bunch of pressed plastic holders, drill new holes etc! I've been trying to get soft close full extension slides but they would require a lot of rework inside the case. I didn't want to destroy the closet. Found them to work - 5 minute install and done :). There is no need to delete existing slides. Installed two - one on each side - for a large 3.5ft cutlery drawer. No more clapping, no more shaking the whole island! A little getting used to - the initial pull of the drawer when actuating/loading the springs on the damper. The best thing is when the damper works, catches the approaching box at full speed, it brakes and that's it - no more popping, no more wobbling. the drawer closes silently - even the one filled with silver! No spoon, fork or knife is appropriate. Love it. A few notes: a. For any drawer larger than 60cm containing cutlery or crockery, consider using two dampers - one on each side/rail - to balance the weight of the materials insideb. The space between the walls of the drawer and the wall of the cabinet where the guides are installed is very limited. You will need to break one of the tabs on the damper to allow the drawer to slide without scratching the damper. For the shock installed on the right side, break the left tongue, for the shock installed on the left side, break the right tongue. Check out the video/instructions - the installation itself is very easy - installing both dampers on the cabinet and the plug on the drawer itself - took no more than 5-10 minutes Add them to all the other drawers now!
