great product! I bought a double pack of white, green and black compounds. Each line was a full 10 inches (254mm) of amazing leather. Read and follow the instructions on the website upon leather.com. 3 new knives sharpened, none of which were sharp for shaving. Brought 1 (Buck 119, 6 inches). 420HC stainless steel blade) to a razor blade with only the rough side of the skin (10 puffs, then 7 puffs, then 4 puffs. Done). On the second knife (Buck Brahma, 6" blade, 420HC stainless steel) I used green (middle) compound on the rough side. After 7 pulls I tested it and it was HOT! I left it alone. 3. Knife (Puma SGB Badlands, 4" blade, 440A stainless steel) has been improved but initially wasn't sharp enough; however it now has a great working edge. They are high quality and obviously can work with a long blade knife. I love these slings and will buy them again for gifts.
