I love it as a decoration

I like this material, I use it in my decoration. I had a lamp with a simple glass shade and glass shelves. I wanted something to make it prettier and wanted to buy stained glass paint and paint it myself then I found this and wow it was easier. I didn't apply it directly to glass though. According to the instructions, it does not stick to frosted glass. So I left the paper backing, cut out pieces to wrap around the edges and glued them to the glass, then put the glass back into the frame. I like the stained glass look. I made the cabinet by applying it directly to the glass as directed and immediately noticed that letting the light shine through the stained glass inside the cabinet made it look good, but otherwise it didn't show. And there shouldn't be any light in the closet, so I stuck white label paper all the way to the back of the stained glass sheet and it's looking good now. I have a ceiling light in my kitchen that I want to make next, hopefully it will soften the fluorescent lighting a bit. I used Summer Magnolia for the lamp and Magnolia for the cabinet. I just bought 3 more rolls, I want to do a project using glass candle holders to make them look like stained glass windows. I will post an update when I do this project. Fun and easy and so many uses. My suggestion for using on glass that doesn't let light through and you want the stained glass to stand out is to hold it on paper backing and tape it with double sided tape. The lampshade I made has a paper backing and the light comes through really well.
