I have a deep, gaping wound on my back from a lung removal surgery that is being packed twice daily. My skin is being torn up and the silicone bandages we had samples of from the hospital were the most comfortable. I bought these with high hopes. However, we have to reinforce them with other tapes because they are falling off, which is dangerous for my wound (think being open overnight, or falling off while out, increasing my risk for infection). Having to reinforce with other tape defeats the purpose of having these bandages. At roughly $2/bandage, I expected them to at least stay on.
