This is a great flat lunge line. It's a good length, the elastic is a good weight, the hook is also a good weight and strong, the rope doesn't fray or break very easily, I've been using it for over a year now and it's still working great and has still much life in itself. I like the flat lunge because it's a little lighter and less tangled in the hand, easier to hold, loosens up, and gathers quickly. Not very soft material, good for traction but if you have kids soft hands you can burn the rope if your horse pulls hard or you give too much slack too fast. I would highly recommend this product to anyone learning to longline or with extensive experience. If you like longer rope ends when lunging or plan on tying your horse up for training this may not be for you, it's perfect for working in a round paddock or a very small arena and staying in control of your Horse.
