Review on RV Travel'r Electric Awning Replacement Motor - Carefree R001326WHT in White by Aaron Parish

Although I think these parts are overpriced after much research on the internet and after visiting two "noisy" houses on wheels of Sales and Parts Company, it was the best price I could find anywhere. It includes a motor and a complete transmission assembly. It was very easy to install. I rotated my tent a few feet, stood on a good ladder, tied the awning's support arm to keep it from extending any further. (This is what happens when you remove the old motor when it's loose.) Some awnings will need a few rivets drilled out and replaced. Still not too much of a problem, but you'll need a dedicated reinstall tool. All I had to do was remove about 10 small Phillips screws, loosen the cable connectors, and then insert a new one. They go with several different styles so make sure you know exactly what you have. It took me maybe 30 minutes to install. Really easy. The delivery was quick and the packaging was great.
