Yamaha XSR900K&N 2018. You know the name. I've put 12,000 miles on my standard air filter and as you can see in the picture it's time to throw it away (disposable paper filter). Installing the air filter is easy, access is not that easy. To access the air filter of this motorcycle you must: - remove the seat - remove the central and side tank caps - unscrew the tank fasteners - lift the tank - disconnect the overflow hoses from the tank - disconnect the fuel pump from the tank - remove the tank - disconnect the computer /remove - unscrew airbox Top gain is not as difficult as it seems. I highly recommend that when you change your air filter that you modify the airbox (by cutting/shortening the air intake) to increase airflow to your new, larger capacity air filter.
