First of all, I'm 42 and I love Optimum Nutrition products. I've been using their Gold Standard Whey for years and their creatine for a year. Some days it takes longer to recover from a workout and when I saw FIT 40 Whey Protein I thought I should try it. I used it for about a month during which time I used up all the powder. the serum seemed to work just like the gold standard so I decided to compare two baths side by side. Here's what I found: A can of FIT 40 weighs 1.8 pounds and costs more. The gold standard weighs 2.0 pounds and costs less. FIT 40 contains 30g of protein per scoop. Gold Standard contains 24g of protein per scoop. FIT 40 contains 4 g of leucine, ideal for regeneration. Restoration. If not, you can always get more BCAAs from Gold Standard. One scoop of FIT 40 is 41 grams. One scoop of Gold Standard is 31 grams. It just costs more and doesn't offer the same great content as their Gold Standard serum. Stick to the gold standard, don't buy useless supplements!
