While driving my camper with a fifth wheel, the suspension spring broke from the frame. I got to the campsite and parked. I've been a professional welder for 26 years and only needed a welding machine to weld the spring hanger back to the frame. I'm far from home and my own welding machines. After some research I decided to buy a cheap compact car to carry around in case this happens again. I was very skeptical about this machine because of the size and low price. I ordered from Amazon and it arrived in 2 days. I cleaned and rearranged the spring hanger and set up the machine for welding. I have had several 3/32 7018 rods. This machine handled them with ease. I had to run it about 30 amps hotter than other welders (about 130 amps) but whatever it was, it worked. I was impressed with the quality of the welding. I probably wouldn't want to work with it all day for fear of burning it, but maybe it could. this is the one.
