Due to a poor installation by our cable company, your Tivo mini was placed behind the TV. When asked (twice) they added an extender which must have been bad as it didn't work once installed. I still had to get up, go to the TV, point the remote at the back of the TV for it to work! Up to this point I had already contacted the support service six times for this and other work. I've decided that I can do it myself. So I bought this cable and plug and voila, my Tivo mini is now on the shelf under the TV and my remote control is now working perfectly. So yes, I definitely recommend this cable! Does what it's supposed to and was easy to connect!
