Review on Epson WorkForce ES 500W Wireless Document by Steve Modesto

Epson installer (ES500W_Combo_AM.dmg) does not work on macOS 10.13.4 (latest version). You can download and install the components individually, but once you've installed them you'll need to run the Epson Software Update to install the Abby scanning software (there's no download for it). ABBYY software actually works, but Epson "Epson Scan 2" scanning software does not... it does not recognize the scanner. Neither can the Epson Scan 2 utilities. I was hoping that Epson's scanning software would have a "copy mode" because Abby doesn't have one. Basically the software is what you would expect from a $300 scanner - a disaster. The hardware is fine. Do not try to scan with a resolution higher than 300 DPI, as the scanning speed drops drastically. I sent it back. Very disappointing. Here is an overview of The Wirecutter.
