The kit contained everything that was declared, everything was in working condition, all components were of high quality. The Arduino board is real. It's just a bunch of extra sensors, inputs, motors/servos and important components. Then there are small dashes. The suitcase is absolutely full of things, but there are dividers, so even after everything is organized, you can still set up the suitcase to put everything you need. The pots include nuts and washers so you can mount them to your creations. The CD of datasheets and lessons is very concise, especially when compared to other offerings of this type. All component sheets are included. To be honest, that's all I was hoping for. The lessons are of good quality, but these sets don't include data tables as often as they should. I wasn't expecting much from the documentary and was pleasantly surprised. Arduino Mega is also very cool. This is great for complex projects where you don't want to mess around with shift registers. I've never seen a mega prototyping hat, but it's pretty gross. It uses an already excellent Arduino and adds plenty of through-hole and SMD mounting points for when you're ready to take your project out of the breadboard phase. The SMD pins correspond to the through pins on the board. They're hard to see in the picture, but they're there. Other components range from the essential (resistors, capacitors, breadboards) to the useful (stepper motors, IR receivers + remote control, keyboard) to the fun (you can attach a small servo motor with a propeller to it). There are also all the extra accessories you need, such as 9V battery + battery connector, 9V power adapter, USB AB cable. Literally all you need is a computer to hook this thing up to. Everything else is included in this set. All sensitive components are individually wrapped in anti-static material. Good. I've included a picture of the entire box to show how full it is. I've been messing around with a bunch, so it's even messier than when it arrived. If you think you're going to love this piece, you almost certainly will.
