I assembled a small gaming system for a full hd TV, with i5 12500 and Scythe Big Shuriken 2 rev. b. The cooler is quite large and covers a significant area of the motherboard. From the point of view of specifications, the cooler should not fit into the case, because its height is 2mm more than the maximum for the case (56 and 58mm). In fact, the problem is not in the distance between the lid and the processor, but in the fact that there is a window above the processor, around which there is a plastic "border" into which the filter is inserted. And only because of the unfortunate location (or size) of this window, this border interferes with the installation of the cooler. And about 4mm is not enough for the lid to close normally. In general, I removed the filter (it’s still stupid, you can do it yourself, it will work better), on the one hand I cut off the filter holder and leveled it with a file, after which I calmly installed the cooler and got top-end cooling for this case. With such a finish, 60mm coolers will fit in there. Obviously, it will no longer be possible to return it under warranty =) So it's better to check in advance that everything is in order with the case.
