After reading the reviews I realized I was going to need orthotics so I put on my usual pair and for the 4 hour concerts I worked part time, they were good (I took stage work as one of my jobs). I was working a full eight hour shift back then and the difference was huge and terrible. Even with the insoles, my whole body hurt. my fingers hurt My heels hurt. My hips and back hurt. My neck hurt. For some reason these shoes are the wrong shape. And no, it wasn't because I was on my feet doing physical labor all day; I've never had this problem with my Doc Martens. I wish I could afford steel topped documents - if you can, don't worry, they're not worth it. for those who, like me, need something cheaper. They are worn over your regular shoes/boots and are a great temporary solution until you can save up for a good pair of steel toe boots.
