Review on Light Duty Clamp On Vise - Pony 13025, 3-Inch by Jessie Drury

This is a lightweight machine and you should plan to use it that way. My current house is too small to have a separate workshop, despite all the work I do with guns and other things. I got this to mount to a kitchen counter for an AR build. It's not as good as having a dedicated spot for a medium-duty vise, but it worked as expected. I have two complaints about the depth of the vise and the material of the clamping surface. When the vise is open you don't have enough depth for some needs. The upper guide rail interferes. As other reviewers have said, the surface of the clip is covered in smooth paint. This allows for slippage without much clamping force, but I don't see much of a downside to what they call it. sandpaper. Skateboard tape would be another great way to get around this. Excellent vise that appears to be well put together. Keep in mind that it's pretty small and easy to use.
