I have a pair of Irwin 8 inch wire cutters which are a cheaper version of these and I love how these bad guys cut, so the fact that I got the Cadillac version was for exciting me. (I work as an industrial electrician so a new quality tool never goes out of date. I received them quickly and tore open the packaging and they looked even better in person. I started cutting all sorts of different wires I had lying around; 12 ga .stranded speaker wire, ethernet wire, coax wire, even a coat hanger, they all cut like butter, and for someone like me with carpal tunnel surgery behind my belt at 25 and someone who cuts wires and often repairs and upgrades equipment these high leverage wire cutters are awesome! I highly recommend spending the extra money on a high quality, easy to use, carpal tunnel friendly tool made in Germany. You won't regret it!
