I'm pretty sure my screw is the right size. Pitch 12mm x 1.5. I measured it with calipers and compared it to the information in the machine manual. However, I did not use a pitch or screw gauge. I might be a little crazy. . but I highly doubt it. If it was the right size, it didn't fit right. Even with good threads, I was unable to get the steps to line up. I couldn't use it. However, if you need to attach threads to an expensive part and know exactly what diameter and thread pitch you have, I would take a chance and buy another.
