This mount is good at what it does - it's flat, easy to fit and holds the TV perfectly (assuming you screw the mount into a stud) . It also tilts, but it's not very easy - you have to keep the TV steady (and straight) by tightening the screws that hold the pull-out in place - they're in the two-inch gap between the TV and the wall and not easy to pull on - I had to use two 6" extension cords and a flexible extension to do this. I was kind of hoping I could tilt the TV up and down whenever I wanted, but since it's so painful I locked it in a medium setting and plan on leaving it there. He's been holding the TV like a champ ever since. There are no complaints.
