These brushes are decent quality - better than I expected. The steel bristles aren't as strong as I'd like, so I have to be careful with them to make them last more than once. Brass bristles are of course thinner and you have to be really careful with them, but they are really good for cleaning surface rust and small spots on metal that can be damaged by steel brushing. I liked that they came in a ziplock bag but didn't like that the bag was damaged in transit.
