I wanted a more sustainable alternative to flooring. I loved the reusable aspect of this product and the less junk to throw out on cleaning day. This product dried superbly and picked up dirt, cat hair, human hair and glitter. But it's not very suitable for wet swiffers. Velcro pads close the jet stream, it would be ideal if the jet stream came from the middle, but mine on the sides, exactly where the fabric attaches. The good thing is that the velcro on the bottom of the Swiffer is still quite scratchy as the padding stays in place without the use of velcro. But when the cloth is on the mechanism, it cleans very well. Holds cosmetics including dried mascara, juice, cola, traces, etc. It's very easy to just throw in the laundry after cleaning the floor. After drying, it keeps its shape well. Tip*** helps to dampen the cloth before using the cleaning solution. Otherwise you will use more cleaning solution just to get the mop head across the floor. (Spray with a rag from a water bottle)
