I bought it mainly for the audio aspect (audio jacks, headset holder and mute button options), the USB ports were the icing on the cake. But from what I've experienced using these ports for external devices, they don't translate to my computer that has these devices on them, as if they can't read back and forth. When I plugged my external device into my USB 3.0 port, the port got very hot. And the outside appeared and then disappeared. I don't think a USB cradle can handle all the voltage/current draw. So for now it's just a backup in case the other USB ports on my computer fail. Worthwhile product, the bags cost $20-30 which I spent.
