Fairly easy to install. Had to look up color instructions to figure out which were the last two screws. Also, they shouldn't have been the last two screws. At the very least, the thumbscrews should go in front of the air filter, and that would be a lot easier if you had another person. I had to press a wrench against the air intake frame to loosen the locknuts on the fender side. All in all it took a little over an hour. The sound the jeep makes when you step on the gas is great and it looks good inside. I didn't notice too much of a performance change, but I made many other changes at the same time, so it's impossible to know mileage or horsepower improvements.
