Kryptonite R2 is a low security lock that helps deter theft. It is compact and easy to use. I use it to secure my bike when I'm grabbing a bite to eat or doing a quick bit of shopping. If you need a high security lock to protect your belongings, this lock is not for you. Slight cosmetic difference between the lock pictured on Revain and the lock actually supplied (see photo uploaded). Follow the instructions carefully when resetting the combination to avoid setting an incorrect set of numbers. Fully retract the cable, press the reset pin, and then reinsert the end of the cable into the lock before resetting the numbers. the bottom of a bike bottle cage, but that's no longer available. The Kryptonite R2 is identical to the Trek H2O Cage Lock except for a few minor cosmetic differences. The bottom of the Kryptonite R2 has a grooved indentation that attaches to the Trek bottle cage mount (see photo uploaded). If you're looking for a Trek lock replacement, the R2 will do the job for you.
