Let me start by saying that I am probably the least DIY-inclined person in the world. However, I just installed this head with ease. Although it's probably irrelevant, here's my situation. I moved into my new apartment about two weeks ago. There was a pretty decent shower head already installed, but it was making a horrible, consistent squeaking/whistling sound. I contacted my landlord thinking it was the shower head and he then replaced it with another one. Needless to say, the sound didn't stop (although it lessened) and the head he put on was pretty crappy (absolutely no pressure and very few settings). So I took it upon myself to find a new one. I looked long and hard at many different models that had good reviews, provided good pressure, and wouldn't break the bank.After several days of research, I ended up with this one. I ordered it on Saturday and had it in hand on Monday (thank you Walmart Prime!). Installation was a cinch, the head screwed right on with no problem (as a side note, and it has been mentioned in other reviews, as well as in the instruction book, DO NOT use any tools. Hand turn only). I didn't even replace the teflon tape as that was done only days ago when my landlord installed the previous head. There is no leakage and the head works great.My only complaint is that I didn't want to get out of the shower. My quick morning pre-work showers are going to be rough.Anyway, if you are looking for a good new shower head that is inexpensive, yet works great, this one is a great buy and I definitely recommend it.
