For the past month I have had the pleasure of breaking up tile floors, concrete and cement steps, sidewalks and slabs using SDS Max and a light jackhammer. The Bosch R-Tec seems to be a tad better than the Monkey King bits I've reviewed previously. In fact, the performance differences are so negligible that I don't feel any difference between the two and have no real preference. The vibration is about the same and I don't know how it sharpens itself because the Monkey King actually holds its edge better, but the extra length comes in handy when removing a tile (a bit more range). In terms of looks, the finish was better, but rust stains appeared much faster than on the Monkey King. Will I buy again? Yes, the price was right, and it still did the job, if no better than its counterpart.
