Works well. But the product information is in the .

Works well. But the product details are wrong in size. The overall length is listed as 19 inches, but the overall length is 16 inches. So the bit that is outside of the SDS-Max bit is 13 1/2", which is very important when you are drilling and cutting 14" concrete.

Reasonable design, the best masonry drill bit

Comes with a sharp bevel edge which is clearly worn. However, this wear is limited by the design of the blade, which has 2 grooves along its entire length. As the edge wears, its blunting is limited by the depth of the groove. Unless you're aiming for sharp, clean, chiseled lines, there's no need to sharpen the edge. Name Brand Name But Overall Performance

For the past month I have had the pleasure of breaking up tile floors, concrete and cement steps, sidewalks and slabs using SDS Max and a light jackhammer. The Bosch R-Tec seems to be a tad better than the Monkey King bits I've reviewed previously. In fact, the performance differences are so negligible that I don't feel any difference between the two and have no real preference.
