One of our dogs, who roamed our large property freely, tore her ACC, and required very expensive surgery. She could no longer roam during the long healing process, which requires very slow and methodical walking. A collar leash was not working, as she was unaccustomed to it, was choking herself, and we had little control over her pace, so I searched until I found this harness. Over the years, I've had many dogs and many harnesses. I can say with surety that I hated every harness I ever purchased, up until this one. I love, love, love this harness. It's soft and cushy on the inside, and it's super easy to get on and off. Most importantly, our terrier tolerates it really well, and we can easily guide her. We plan on ordering another for our other rescue dog, a little Papillon/Chihuahua mix. Very pleased with this harness!
