Review on C4Labs Cloudlet CASE: Cluster Case For Raspberry Pi And Other Single Board Computers-Mist by Reggie Higdem

Poor build quality for computers and accessories

In the end I just threw the case away. In general, the friction of all parts of the body is terrible. For $70 I was expecting something I didn't need to change. Unfortunately I'm disappointed and will just eat the price because I see no point in risking COVID just to get $70 back. To be clear, otherwise I would personally refund this button. In addition, I have other C4-Lab stuff for my Pis. They have good products like the Pi Zero, they have a nice multi-material prototyping construction that includes a layer of wood for the base and plastic to put the Pi and breadboard on top of the wood base. It's about the size of a pocket calculator from the 90's. Definitely back to the review. The first thing I noticed was that the ends were dangling. The ends come apart very easily. I'm not asking to be able to throw this thing on the wall, but I don't like the fact that I have to tape them together. However, this is not even a big problem. The big problem is this: the compatible mechanism that triggers the "latches" to hang your Pi sucks in this case due to poor build tolerances. This is a friction fit and is too loose to provide even friction. Just turn it sideways like the picture and the Pi holders will just fall off. Even if you think you're smarter and just fix it because it looks cool, yes. I tried to glue the ends. I found out how poorly carved this thing is. You'll see the gaps if you don't close them with the power of Hercules.
