The case is fine but the instructions and fans are well read on

. Loud is not the right word, maybe loud. After almost contacting the company and getting frustrated that I had spent some money on it, I remembered that other fans I have work fine with 3.3V, and guess what that does. Connect the black to the 3rd pin as for 5V, but the red connects to the 1st pin on the opposite side. These are the last 6 pins, the third is the same ground as on 5V: 0 0 xx 0 0

Pros
  • . Pleasing.
Cons
  • . Operating speed.

Pretty good case, excellent customer service

Overall I really like this product, it's nice to have a PoE switch and all Pi in one container. I have 5 pi and they all have their hats on and everything looks relatively clean. Although acrylic mounts could be better. They're not bad, but I wish they were more securely attached to the case (not all hang out, but some do). When I received the package in the mail, almost all the fasteners were broken, I only had 3 good ones. I contacted C4 Labs and they responded the next day and sent a…

Poor build quality for computers and accessories

In the end I just threw the case away. In general, the friction of all parts of the body is terrible. For $70 I was expecting something I didn't need to change. Unfortunately I'm disappointed and will just eat the price because I see no point in risking COVID just to get $70 back. To be clear, otherwise I would personally refund this button. In addition, I have other C4-Lab stuff for my Pis. They have good products like the Pi Zero, they have a nice multi-material prototyping construction that…

Yes and a few not good for computers and accessories

Advantages -1. The green color scheme on black looks amazing.2. The case itself is made of thick, strong plastic.3. Below is space for a network switch. I cut a hole in the back and inserted a 16 port gigabyte switch.4. I like how the cards fit together. Although it gets a bit more difficult the more Pi you put in. Disadvantages -1. Heat: I have 6 RPI 3B+ boards and 2 RPI4 boards. All RBI 3Bs have heat sinks. RPI 4 have their own heatsink and two fans. But the row of fans at the back of the…

Expensive but durable. Highly recommended.

As the name suggests, it was quite expensive considering that Raspberry Pis are relatively cheap. However, after every cheap stackable acrylic sheet shattered into pieces, I decided to just pick these up. To be fair building a PRi array is not common but then again it was something during COVID 😉. The outer case comes pre-assembled and is approximately 5.65mm thick. There are also 10 mounting plates (2 optional) pre-drilled for both Raspberry Pi and standard SSD mounting models. The case…

Practical, beautiful, easy to assemble and great grip. .

Using multiple Pis in a lab that's visible to customers, so looks matter—and for all its incredible versatility, it's difficult to make a Pi look at home in racks full of corporate networks and computing gear . all with impeccable wiring. This "Pi Rack" was the perfect solution. The only change I make is that instead of a switch, I put a small display panel at the bottom. The case was packaged very well and it is important to remember that this is a soft material that can be scratched. You want

You need an efficient home lab

With the advent of the 4GB and 8GB Raspberry Pis and their I/O and USB expansions, I decided to finally create an energy efficient home lab with room for personal improvement to build. I'm glad I chose this as an essential build component. What I used: * Black and Green Cloudlet Case * 6 Pi 4 with PoE connectors * 2 x SATA SSD * Ubiquiti ES-8-150W Switch * Ubiquiti ER-X Router * Mikrotik Dual Radio Hotspot. Pros: * Quarter-inch thick acrylic is tough and shatterproof * Modular blades can easily

Good Case for 8 Pi Cluster

This case works well for an 8 node Raspberry Pi Cluster. It accommodates 8 Pis mounted on support plates that plug into the back of the case. There is a space on the bottom (or side if upright) that can be used for a switch or power supply. The manufacturer shows the switch, but I chose to go wireless with the Pi and used the space to house an 8-port power bank (USB charger) which fits perfectly. There are four fans which along with the heatsinks I have installed on the Pi seem to keep…

  • Functionality

I needed a cluster chassis for a low power server farm and the C4 Labs Cloudlet chassis was a perfect fit. I am using an enclosure to host my company website with 8 load balanced Raspberry Pi Zero v1.3 and Nginx. The reverse proxy in the DMZ is used for load balancing of the Raspberry Pi cluster hosted here. The load balancer also supports TLS connections with clients. The proxy loads the site from the cluster over http, which is perfect for speed. What I like about Cloudlet CASE: 1) nice…
