Using multiple Pis in a lab that's visible to customers, so looks matter—and for all its incredible versatility, it's difficult to make a Pi look at home in racks full of corporate networks and computing gear . all with impeccable wiring. This "Pi Rack" was the perfect solution. The only change I make is that instead of a switch, I put a small display panel at the bottom. The case was packaged very well and it is important to remember that this is a soft material that can be scratched. You want to put it where loose cords and other devices won't dig in. Assembly was child's play. I installed all four fans, which is probably a bit more than what the Pi needs, but if there was a switch it would probably be more necessary. They are quiet but not silent. You can hear them in a quiet office, but not uncomfortably. In a place with other network or computer equipment, it is imperceptible. Mounting points for each Pi come with a protective case. The instructions advise that soaking in warm water will make removal easier - please do so, you will find that it only takes a minute to remove the shell and you will not leave a single scratch. There are multiple holes for both brackets. Cables and larger for laying network / power / etc. cables outdoors. If looks are important, spend some time fitting to ensure you end up with something practical and neat, the time will be well worth it. They had a replacement on my desk within 48 hours. I was hesitant to use the "transparent" version but after seeing the finished product I really think it's the best. It shows tech how compact it can fit, and the eye automatically recognizes that there are eight separate devices on the display, but presents them in the most pleasing way.
