All in all a great tool. Ideal for round holes in sheet metal ducts. But I broke off the first piece at my second 26 gauge channel hole. Forty holes later (6 to 12 inches) I'm still using the second drill bit. The trick was to use a screwdriver and drill combo. I switched the drill to screwdriver mode and reduced the torque to minimum (1 on my drill). It cuts just as fast as before, but as soon as the bit for some reason binds instead of breaking, the torque clutch disengages and the bit stops turning. Release the trigger, step back a little (1/8"), and start again. The clutch will engage once or twice per hole, but that slight lag is worth not buying bits every few holes. Another thing I started with was not to finish every hole as that's where the bit seems to hang for me, I leave about 1/4" uncut and then finish the cut with metal snips.
