Review on High-performance K&N PF-1000 Fuel Filter - Enhance Your Engine's Efficiency by Ryan Olsen

I expected better from a K&N product. the picture is deceptive. The PF-1000 has threaded fittings on both ends and the Rouge seems to fit, although the k&N website says the PF-2500 is the correct part. The downside of this filter was the ease of installation. poorly cut and there was tap residue in the threads which I had to clear. Small slivers of metal are not what you want in a fuel system, poorly cut or finished threads made threads incredibly difficult to start. My 2002 odometer read 150,000 and this is my 4th filter change so not my first rodeo. I can usually replace one in 15 minutes once I have all the parts and tie the truck down. this one is also much longer. Never had such problems with cheaper frame filters. So a bit disappointed in this price range
