Advantages: Easy to use. Plug and Play as far as my computer fits. Inexpensive and fun Cons: The included software is not compatible with all MacOS - requires 10.13 and higher. I was able to use this through OBS no matter what. Very tricky controls - quite difficult to focus on anything with the watch face. It sticks just enough to be a nuisance. Very loose stand. Since the focus is very precise, the slightest movement of the tripod will defocus the microscope. However, since the stand is made of very cheap plastic, it cannot hold its position when the dial is rotated. I ended up buying it to diagnose skipping issues. I'm not trying to split atoms or anything like that so this works for what I need it for. This is a bit more work than it needs to be; If the dial was better calibrated and the stand was stronger, it would be much better. The stand can probably be replaced, but the dial cannot.
