great magnification but jumps right into focus

I love taking pictures and saving them on my PC. The downside is that the focus wheel barely moves at the point of greatest focus and jumps past the focus point.

Excellent microscope with 1600x magnification!

This microscope has more magnification than any other in its class: The XClifes microscope has a maximum magnification of 1600 compared to 1000 for all other microscopes in its class at a great price.

Much better than the old 1990's microscope we had.

We had an old Bushnell children's microscope from the early 1990's. It was very difficult to use and focus. We decided that a digital microscope would be better. Your digital microscope works great. Now I connect it to my tablet because it has a USB-C connector.

Works with a computer

I want it to work the same with the phone as it does with a computer, but it works with a computer. It can get a little jittery when you get to the point you really want to see. You need some patience because once you have exactly the look you are looking for, it is amazing. It really magnifies what you can never see or understand with the naked eye. This is great for science classes as well as curious minds.

Useless to me - could not reach the magnification specified by the manufacturer

Not having an Android phone, to use this microscope I had to download the company's software and connect it to my computer. It's exhausting, but I knew that when I bought it. I wouldn't make that mistake again. I was able to zoom in and out with the microscope, but I found the focus weak and I was never able to get the 1600x magnification that the product claims it can achieve. Doesn't cost 30-40€. It's maybe worth $5 to me. It might work better if you have an Android phone (I don't have an…

You have rough hands

Advantages: Easy to use. Plug and Play as far as my computer fits. Inexpensive and fun Cons: The included software is not compatible with all MacOS - requires 10.13 and higher. I was able to use this through OBS no matter what. Very tricky controls - quite difficult to focus on anything with the watch face. It sticks just enough to be a nuisance. Very loose stand. Great microscope - took a while to install

Revain delivered the microscope to us as expected. First, the microscope is excellent for the money! We were just looking for a way to magnify small objects and we have to say that the microscope exceeded our expectations once we set it up. That being said, we REALLY had trouble setting it up - the webpage printed for the install gave us a 404 error (and yes, we ENTERED it correctly).
