I had to bend the hinges on the bottom a bit to fit the Exo Terra screen but it sits securely. I was concerned that the light could be accidentally turned off, resulting in a nosy pooch or careless person being burned, and that a possibly blown bulb could injure someone and waste money. Don't worry as it keeps it firmly in place. For the price (I think I paid 3.50) it's definitely worth it to keep your peace of mind.
