Review on EZARC Precision Screwdriver Electronics Smartphone by Chad Delgado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly strong

So many of these little tool kits seem to be pretty much the same product with different brand names and the main complaint is that the bits come loose easily. While I can't say for sure if this set is a rebrand of another, I can say I was surprised by the bit's durability. I had to hack and disassemble 4 hard drives and these bits worked for me. These hard drives date from 1993 and were ROBUST. I had to use a lot of torque to get some of these screws out. These bits have done their job and don't seem to wear out afterwards. I'm glad I bought them and would buy them again. Note: There are many very small parts with tiny (but important!) differences between sizes. Make sure you use the correct size to avoid loosening the bit or screw head. I've come across several screws that fit more than one size so I used the largest one. It worked great. A small inconvenience is that the size engraving on the bit is inconsistent. Some of them are easy to read, others are just too superficial to read easily. So there is, but it doesn't really play a role in the overall scheme of things.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some quibbles
